       INTRODUCTION
       ------------
       ScreenFX's primary function is to prevent screen burn-in on your
       monitor when using any DOS application. Numerous animations are
       available, or create your own using software you already use.

       Any graphics or text which is displayed on screen for long periods
       may create phosphor burns on the CRT. ScreenFX will check your
       system for keyboard, mouse, or hard disk movement and will
       automatically display one or many combinations of ScreenFX scripts.

       With ScreenFX you can prevent burn-in and at the same time play
       your favourite FLIC file, display 3D AutoCAD drawing files with
       dynamic rotation, and display moving custom messages.

       Files can be played individually or a script can be created, with a
       simple to use script generator.

       PRICE
       -----
       For a limited time the price of ScreenFX will be $30 U.S. or $39 C.N.
       per workstation. Special site licenses are available on request.

       REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
       ----------------------
       On installing ScreenFX, immediately you will be able to run the
       screen saver feature by running SFX.BAT. However there are some
       limitations. The screen saver will prompt you to register the
       program by running SETSFX.EXE. On running SETSFX.EXE you can
       either register the package by entering a password or press ESC
       to skip the registration and explore the options.

       You can register ScreenFX by calling us any business day between
       9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time. When running SETSFX.EXE select
       the Register option from the File menu and you will have your
       serial number displayed and a password area to fill. Call our
       office and receive your password once a payment is received with
       either Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. You can also fill
       out the order sheet, ORDER.TXT, and Fax it to our office. On
       receipt of your order, we will confirm it and Fax a password back.

       INSTALLATION
       ------------
       Copy all files into the ScreenFX directory and run either SFX.BAT
       or SETSFX.EXE. Remember to run SFX.BAT or SETSFX.EXE you must be
       in the SCREENFX directory, or put SCREENFX in the SET PATH statement
       in AUTOEXEC.BAT in order to run it from anywhere.

       FILE FUNCTION
       -------------
           SFX.BAT set sfx=c:\screenfx -Sets the path
           -------       screenfx /s3         -executes SCREENFX.EXE
                                               with 3 minute delay

           REMOVE.BAT screenfx /r -Removes screenfx from
           ----------                          memory

           DEFAULTS.CFG This file contains the current default script
           ------------ which is played when SFX.BAT is run. It also
                         contains the delay time, followed by the
                         Authorization Code. This file is automatically
                         updated by SETSFX.EXE

           SCREENFX.EXE SCREENFX.EXE should not be run by itself since
           ------------ it requires a set statement as in SFX.BAT. If
                          you wish to put ScreenFX in your AUTOEXEC.BAT
                          or any other batch file, use SFX.BAT as a sample
                          file.

                          e.g.  set sfx=c:\screenfx
                                screenfx  /s3

               Other options,
               -------------
                 screenfx /d -Disables screenfx but stays resident

                 screenfx /e   -Re-enables disabled ScreenFX

                 screenfx /s2  -executes SCREENFX.EXE with a 2 minute delay

                 screenfx /r -Removes screenfx from memory

                 e.g. If you wanted to have ScreenFX work only with AutoCAD,
                      you would modify the ACADR12.BAT and include the
                      following at the beginning,

                                   set sfx=c:\screenfx
                                   screenfx

                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ etc.
                       and place the following at the end,
                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   screenfx /r
           SETSFX.EXE      Run SETSFX.EXE when you wish to create a new
           ----------      script, open an existing script, change the
                           default script, or register the program.
                 Editor.
                 In the Script File Editor you can edit the script and
                 choose between displaying Messages, DWG files, SLD files,
                 to the script, on selecting cancel you will be prompted
                 "Abandon Script? - Yes or No". Selecting Yes will return
                 you to the main menu, and selecting No will return you to
                 the script menu. If you select OK the Save Script As
                 select a script file to make it the default currently
                 playing script. You can also change the ScreenFX delay
                 File/Register
                 -------------
                 The Register option is only used if ScreenFX has not been
                 registered. When you first run SETSFX.EXE you will be
                 prompted to register the software by calling TOR
                 Computerized Systems Inc. Upon calling, when quoting the
                 serial number on the screen, you will receive a password
                 which you enter. From this point on you will not be
                 required to enter the password since it is registered.
                 Make sure you keep this password recorded else where.
                 If you do not register on first executing SETSFX.EXE, you
                 can select the Register option to do so.
