--------------------------------------------------------------------

System Requirements:

        * 80286 (or above) IBM AT compatible Personal Computer.
        * Minimum of 2MB RAM.
        * 1.5MB of free disk space.
        * MSDOS 3.30 (or later).
        * Microsoft Windows 3.1 (or later).
        * Mouse or other pointing device (not essential, but
          recommended).
        * VGA, SuperVGA, 8514/A or XGA display adapter.
        * Roland Sound Card (SCC1 or LAPC1)
            or
        * Roland Sound Module (SC55 (Sound Canvas), SC155, JV30
          or MT32) connected to a Roland MPU401 compatible MIDI
          interface card.

To install Audition GS:

        1. Copy the ZIP file to a new directory (C:\SETUP) and
           decompress it using PKUNZIP (type "PKUNZIP AUDGS.ZIP").
        2. Startup Microsoft Windows and run the Audition GS
           setup program "C:\SETUP\SETUP.EXE" from the Windows
           Program Manager. Do NOT install Audition into the same
           directory as the setup files or you will get an "Out
           of memory" error message when you try to run Audition.
        3. The setup program will guide you through the rest of
           the installation.

Demo Release Notes:

        * This demo version of Audition is identical to the
          retail version except you will not be able to save
          MIDI files.
        * You may experience problems with the MPU401 interface
          if you start up an MSDOS session whilst Audtion is
          playing/recording, so press the stop button before
          doing this.
        * Audition checks to see if any other Multimedia Windows
          application is using the MPU401 before playing MIDI
          files and will display a warning message if this should
          occur. However, some applications that use their own
          MPU401 drivers do not check before playing, which
          results in both applications sending data to the
          interface, producing some undesired effects.
        * Audition uses 96 MIDI clocks per quarter note and
          converts any MIDI files that do not have the same
          division. This can add to the MIDI file load time.
